Visitors can find:

  • Local Knowledge & Travel Advice

    – Our friendly team can assist with maps, brochures, and up-to-date information on roads, attractions, accommodation, tours, and events throughout the shire.

  • The Unearth Etheridge Exhibit

    – An engaging display showcasing the region’s geology, Indigenous culture, pastoral industry, and pioneering history.

  • Ted Elliott Mineral Collection

    – One of the world’s most significant private collections of minerals and gemstones.

(Currently closed for an exciting upgrade — reopening date to be confirmed.)

  • Community Services

    – The centre also houses the Georgetown Library and a Centrelink Access Point, making it a valued resource for both locals and visitors.

  • Visitor Facilities

    – Air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and shaded parking are available to ensure a comfortable stop.

Behind the centre you’ll also find:
